Confessions
These pieces of poetry were created when I felt a need to confess my sins to Christ and wait for His mercy on my spirit.

Repent
Father, I have been led astray.

Seems I sin even when I dream and lay.

I lie, cheat, and have too much fun.

Please God, help me to love Your precious Son.

The seraphim told me not to go with the devil.

But I foolishly sunk to his level.

I run to kiss Your feet and I fall.

Why do You always seem so tall?

Even after Satan cuts my spirit apart...

...You give me another chance and mend my heart.

Thank You...

Temptation
The sky grows dark, I wait for the evening to begin.
I start to think how much I will sin.

I venture out of my house and into the street.
Satan, the prince of evil, I pray that I beat.

I see a woman walking down the road.
The lust growns strong, so I turn my eyes to a disgusting looking toad.

I enter the club, the music takes control of my body.
My God, I fear that I shall do things that are naughty.

I come home and fall asleep.
I can't seem to rest in peace as I count those white sheep.

I wake up the next morning and get in my car.
Why does Your home always seem so far?

I rush through the doors and see a cross.
I tear up and think about my temptation...my loss.

I kneel down and kiss Your feet.
And as I go in peace from Your blessing, Satan tries to hunt for me again as if I am fresh meat.
