They Say...
They say, "What would Jesus do?"
But I say, "What did Jesus do?"
They say, "God is love..."
But I say, "Love God..."
They say, "Live everyday like it's your last!"
But I say, "Live everyday like it's the end of the world..."
They say, "Christianity is just another religion..."
But I say, "Christianity is a new way of life only found by those who look past religious titles."
They say, "Be nice, don't lie, cheat, or be rude."
But I say, "Follow the Ten Commandments."
They say, "You can do it if you put your mind to it!"
But I say, "You can do it if the will of God allows you to do so."
They say, "The Bible is too long to read and learn."
But I say, "The Bible is a history book...for your soul."
They say, "Christ isn't real..."
But I say, "Think again..."
But that's just me...

Doxology of Angie
Praise God with all your might,
All throughout the day and night.
If you forget to love Him one day,
Be sure to kneel before you lay.
Ane when I reach death later,
I hope to be in the arms of my Creator.

The Candle
Once upon a time, I lit my candle. As the wax dripped, I thought it was something that I could not handle.
Every night I would lay in my bed. No matter how hard I tried, I could never understand You fully in my head.
Sometimes I become afraid at night, for Satan is a prowling lion, waiting to start a fight.
My problems grow big, so I read Your Bible understanding how You were not rich or famous in Your day. And so my candle dims as I say, "I'm sorry...please pardon my evil way..."
And so I died, and you kept my faith with a heavenly score...
...I lit my candle for You once more...
